Friends and Boyfriend

Friend mean staying by thierside and promise to be forever and still keep the promise for so many years untill it make it come true. Friends bring us happiness and sorrow in the mean time in every journey that we make but there are times that friends make us cry for the one we love.

True friends mean by staying toghether no matter what happen eventhough life changes and someone comes in our lives but sometimes friend forget us when they met someone escepially a new boyfriend and new friends that come in their lives.

Having boyfriend is good for someone who is in love with each other and accept thier weakness and strengh all toghether that is same with freinds but true friends stick with you and boyfriend comes and go but somehow freinds that have boyfriend are to caught up on love and leave aside thier true friends.

The person who are to caught up in love somehow forget about freinds that are closet to them and it hurt their other friend. Having boyfriend is a good thing but dont always stick a boyfreind untill we forget about our other friend. Friends are always there for us no matter but boyfriend when couple fight the first person they find is there friend. so no matter what happen keep friends and boyfriends even.

Blogging

Blogging mean writing a post about something and a good place where we can learn about education things and also an expression where we can write. At first when our lecturer miss freda ask us to do blogging, i do not know how to do or even what does blogging mean.

After i get used to blogging for couple of months, i started to like it. I usually express my feeling and thought in blogging so that i can feel relieve. And also i like to post about education thing so that i can remember thins that are useful to me or even things that i do not know.

While blogging, i always checked on my spelling either if i type wrong or dont. The advantage of blogging is that we can learn more when we do blogging it also make us remember more while blogging. I say this is bacause while typing we remember things much more easily. Other than that, is also blogging, helps us to learn more for example education can be learned from other blogger.

The advantage is also we can learn our spelling and also blogger would comment on our post to make the post that we blog more better. It is usefull beacuse eventhough we are far apart we still can learn thing and correct our mistake from the comment made by the blogger.

The disadvantage of blogging is that it have to be updated every month and this is very annoying for the person who is busy with thier work. While blogging, the post can suddenly dont appear in the blog and this make us write it back for the second time.

Dinosaur

Dinosaur were group of reptiles that lived on earth for over 160 millon years. They became extinct about 65 millon years ago. The dinosuars evolved 255 millons years ago during a geological period known as the Trassic. Some were only the size of a chicken, others were the biggest land animals that ever existed.

The same dinosuars did not exist throughout the age of reptilces. For example, Diplodocus lived during the jurassic and was a sauroped or lizard- footed dinosaur. Scientist have found evidence of over 500 types of dinosaur, spanning all the periods but it is believed that as many as 1,300 types may be existed and most of which are still not discoveres yet.

The Theropods were meat- eaters, all built to the same design. They has long mouths full of meat- tearing teeth, they walked on thier hind legs and had small bodies which they balanced with long, heavy tails. Some such as compsognathus, were chicken sized while the biggest were 12- m long killers, such as Tyrannosaurs.

Sauropods were plants- eaters. They had big, heavy bodies and moved around on all fours, using their long necks to reach leaves on trees. They were the biggest land animals that ever lived included Diplodocus and Brachiosaurs.

Great Inventions

An Invention is a new way of making or doing something. Many inventions save time and effort and make life easier. Some inventions improve safety standards. Others just add more fun and enjoyment to life. A discovery is something you find that are already exists. People discovered natural fire many thousand years ago.

The wheel was invented over 5,000 years ago, and many people believes it is the most important invention there has ever been. By attaching wheels to carts and other land vehicles, it was possible to move people and goods from one place to another. The wheel playes an important role in engineering and machines, from the early potter's wheel to steam engines, cameras, and clock.

It is hard to believe that up to 300 years ago, work could only be done by people, animals, or the power of the wind and water. This changed in the 1700s when the steam engine was invented. The new engine powered transportation and factory machines.

Transportation is also one of the great invention that help us to travel faster and go to other places. In the ancient times, they use animals such as horse to bring them every where that they want to go. This also effect the job that they have.

For many hundrends of years ago, space was nothing but a fantansic dream. Only the most powerful engine could beat the pull of gravity and leave the earth behind. One thousand years ago, rockets were little more than fireoworks. This invention had led to new understanding of the earth  and the exciting exploration of the solar system.

Drama

Puppet shows have been performed since ancient times- the remainsof puppets have been found in the tombs of Ancient India, Egypt and greece. Puppets were oftenused to act out legends or religious stories. Different types of puppets are operated in different ways.

Japanese Theater is well known for two main kinds of drama- Noh and kabuki. Noh is a serious dance- drama, performed on a traditional stage without much scenery. It began in the 1300s and was first acted by priests from Buddist temples. Today it is performed by ordinary actors. Kabuki began in the early 1600s. It is much livelier than Noh, with songs, dance , funny scenes, energetic fights and splendid scenery.

Elizabethen Theater, in 1976, during the reign of Queen Elizebeth 1, a huge wooden theater wa built in London, England. It was built as a circle so that people could sit most of the way around the stage. The theater was succesful that others like it were built nearby. One of these theaters, called the Globe, put on the plays of the great English playwright Willam Shakespeare. He wore 37plays about everything from murder and war, to love and journey.

Indoor stages is the first permanent indoor theaters were built in Italy in the late 1500s. For the first time, complicated scenery could be used and changed between secenes. Early indoor theaters had a frame around the stage. The frame made a scenery look as if it was a picture frame. There are still picture- frame today, but new theater often have stages that can be changed to suit each play.

Dance

People have always danced. In ancient times people danced and sang to praise their gods or to celebrate big events such as a successfull hunt or harvest. Dance is still an important part of many cultures, but today people all over the wortld enjoy dancing just for fun. Some dances have special steps, which need to be learned. Others, such as disco, let the dancers move freely.

Dancing and and acting are often closely linked and many dances tell stories. For example, in Indiaa some dances tell ancient srories from hindu faith. Group dances that tell a dramatic story are called dance- dramas. Dances act out the story to singing and mime. Mime is a type of acting that uses facial expression and body movement.

Kathakali is a spectacular dance- drama from southern India. It dates back to the 1500s and is still popular today. During the plays, singers tell stories from hindu legends while dancers act them out using their special dance language. Kathakali plays are traditionally shown at night in a temple courtyard, and all the parts are played by men.
Ballet is a mixture of graceful dancing, beautiful music, custumes, mime and scenery. Ballet began more than 400 years ago in europe. At first it included singing and speech as well as dance and the performance wore high heels. Then about 200 years ago, dancers began to wear the soft, flat toe shoes they use today.

Ballroom dancing is usually performed by couples with the man and women holding each other as they move to the music. Dances can be energetic with fast steps, or slow with graceful steps. Nearly all of the ballroom dances seen today were developed during the 1800s and 1900s. At first they danced at parties and public gathering. Now they are also danced un competitions.

Africa

The world's hottest continent, Africa has rainforests and tree- scattered grassland (known as savanna), which are inhabited by a huge variety of wild animals. A third of Africa is covered by the sahara, the largest desert on Earth.

Much of Africa is made up of plateaux, flat areas of land high above sea level. The plateaux in East Africa is broken up by two extinct volcanoes like mount kenya and tanzania's mount kilimanjro and the great rift valley. The rift is a long crack in the earth's crust that runs from mozambique, through East Africa, the red sea and into southwestern Asia.

Africa lies into across the Equator, most of the comtinent gets extremely hot that is why africa is hot and dry. The world's highest temperature in the shade was recorded in Libya in 1932 at 58c. The land around the tropics, each side of the Equator, is starved of rain and more than half Africa' land has less than 500mm of rain per year.

In some regions, particularly around the Equato in West and central Africa, rainfall is high and large rainforests grow. Monrovia, the capital of liberia, has an average of 5,140 mm of rain per year. Between the rainforest and the deserts are immerse areas of tropical savanna. Savanna is prone to drought, with a mixture of rainy and dry season.

Rockets and Astronauts

Rockets have to go faste than 11 kilometres per second to get into space. The works out to about 40,000 kilometres per hour- and car drives can get into troubles for speeding at 120 kilometres per hour. If rockets didn't travel so fast they wouldnt be able to escape the enormously strong pull of earth's gravitiy.

The tallest rocket ever launched was the saturn v that look the Apollo 11 into space, and the first people to the Moon. Rockets are made up of two or three partrs called stages. Each stage is a giant fuel tank and engine, which separates and falls away as soon as its fuel used up.

Rockets are mainly used to put mschines called satellities into orbit around the Earth. Different sorts of satellite are launches to do many different jobs. Satellities can be used by one country to spy on another. Satellite photographs and maps help scientist to study earth and what it's made of.

There's nto air to breathe in space and, depending on whether a spacecraft is in or out of the sun's light,it's either very hot or cold. wihtout spacesuits to protect them outside their spacecraft, astronaus would die. Astronaunt have to wear seatbelts to stop them flowing away when they use the tiolet. Space tiolets dont flush but everything is sucked away instead.

Space stretches astrounauts can come back as much 5 centimetres taller. They sleep in bags which are strapped down to stop them floating.

Planets

Our planets, the earth, has eight neighbours. Together they make a family of nine planets which travel around the sun. We call the sun, and all the spaces bodies that whirl around it, the solar. The sun and the planets, the solar system inclused moons, mini-planets called asteroids, and comets.

The word planet comes from the Greek word planets, which means wanderer. Comets are like huge dirty snowballs. Most stay out on the edge of the solar system, but a few travel close to the sun. These comets griw gas and dust tails, millons of kilometres long, when the sun's heat starts to melt them.

Our planets is the only solar system with water and living things on it. It is third planet from the sun, and it gets just the right amount of heat and light to keep us alive. It gets dark at night because the earth is spinning as it orbits the sun. As part of the earth spin away from the sun, they move into darkness. It takes a whole day and a night for the earth to spin round once.

Venus isnt't the closet planet to the sun, but it is the hottest. The temperature there can reach up tp 500c- that's about eight times hotter than it gets in the Sahara Desert, the hottest place in earth. Although Mercury
(right) is the closet to the sun, Venus is covered by clouds of gas which act like a blanket, keeping the sun's heat.

Mars is often called the red planet. The ground there is coverd in dusty red soils, which gets the swept up by the wind to make to pink clouds. The rocks on mars have lots of iron in them, and irons goes red when it rusts. A better name for mars might be the rusty planets.

Jupiter is so huge that all the other planets could fit inside it. The beautiful patterns on its face are made by swirling clouda of gas, stirred up by powerful wind storms.Jupiter was named by the Ancident Romans, after the king of thier god.

Stars, Universe and Space

The whole world and everything beyond it is the universe. It is all the is the stars and planets, the Earth and its plants and animals, you and me, and everything. It all started about 15 billon years ago, there was a gigantic explosion which they call the Big Bang.

Milky Way is the galaxy we live in. It is made up of all the stars can be seen in the night and lots and lots that we cant be seen. The milkly way got its name because at night we can sometimes see part of it looking like a band of milky white light across the sky.

Stars are made of gases like the air around us. The two main gases in stars are called hydrogen and helium. They are star's fuel.Stars make heat and light from them. Since earliest times, people have seen patterns in the way stars are grouped in the sky. The patterns are called constellations.

The biggest star we can see in the sky is called sirius. Another name for it is the Dog Star. It is about twice as big our sun, but it gives out more than twenty times as much as light.

Stars only twinkly when we look at them at from earth. Out in the space their light shines steadily. We see them twinkling because the air around the earth- as the light from a star travels toward us, it is bent and wrobbled by bubbles of hot and cold air.

Life

The meaning of life is deeply mixed with the philosophical and religious conceptions of existence, consciousness, and happiness, and touches on many other issues, such as symbolic meaning, ontology, value, purpose, ethics, good and evil, free will, conceptions of God, the existence of God, the soul, and the afterlife.

For me, Life would include being happy and being hurt. In my life, there is times that I would fail for intance i fail to be a good daughter to my parents but i tried to be the daugher they always wanted to have. When I was young my mum always scold be on how i dressed and how i talk to people. Ofcourse, when we are young we do not know anything about it but once we grow up everything seems to be clear as like crystal clear.

While growing up,my parents expect me to have good grades and being number one in the class like all parents wanted their daughter to be. All my friends would be more clever than me and somehow i was not clever enough to impress my parents. That was a big failure in life. Making your parents dissapointed and bringing shame to the famiy.

But when I turn 16, I learn that sometimes when I was young my mum would talk about how life is hard and many obstacales in the journey of life. Now, when I think back about it my mum was right, that life is hard when we do not have any knowledge at all so thats why mum always force me to be number one is the class. When I didnt get number one at class, i thought she didnt love me but i was wrong, she love soo much that she have to be strict on me so that i would get number one in class.

My mum would always say that without God we will dont be able to achieve the dream that we want that's why my mum ask us to go to church and pray to God for strengh and blessing in our dairly life. I always wanted to be the daughter that they wanted me to be but while doing this obstacles always come along.

The past would always be the past and we only can do iz look at the future or keep going instead of looking back and make the same mistake. We are human, we are dont born to be perfect but we are born to do greatest whatever things can happen in life.

Life is short for every one of us thats why we must appreciate all the time that we had toghether with our love one and the people who care for us. Nowadays, the world is becoming more evil we do not forgive the one that hurt ur but we keep it inside till we died with it. I learn my mistake not forgiving my cousin but I was too late to say sorry to him and he pass away. From that day, I would forgive the people who do me wrong.

I do not want to live in the world that is full of hate in our hearts. Life pass us by quickly without even knowing it. I may dont be the perfect daugher to my parents but I know one thing  my mum didnt raised me to hate other and that Life pass us by quickly if we do not know how to apperiate them and forgive the other people who has done is wrong.

Pulau Manukan

Manukan offers clear waters and beautiful coral reefs. Shaped like a dolphin, the island is 1½ km long. Blessed with a long stretch of white sandy beach promising hours of sea, sand & fun! Guests can choose to stay in one of the single or double storey chalets. All chalets overlook the South China Sea and a spectacular sunset is almost a daily affair.

The island is also ideal for small to medium sized group meetings. Have a solitary time for yourself at the Look-Out Point and watch the beautiful sunset of Borneo.

The island is accessible from downtown Kota Kinabalu by boat. Journey takes about 20 minutes from the jetty of Jesselton Point (formally the location of Sabah Port Authority)

Manukan has most developed tourist facilities that includes a few restaurants. The Manukan Island Restaurant offers a wide selection of Asian and Continental cuisine or visitors may make pre-arrangement for barbecue.

Getting to any island of Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park is easy. Just take a boat ride from Jesselton Point where there are several ticketing counters from different travel agents selling packages such as island hopping, sunset cruise, diving and beach activities and even packages inclusive of meals.

The pricing are more or less the same. For a trip to Manukan Island, the cost is a total of RM 22.00 per person.

The history of the harbour is also shown in black and white pictures placed on the walls and outside the Jesselton Point ferry terminal.

Friendship

Friend mean being there for someone no matter what situation they are. I had a friend once and she betrayed me for 5years. I know her since form 1 we become friends. She was my closet friend and I trusted her the most among all my friends. She was the one who cheered me up when i was down and she help me out a lot when I dont know what my teacher is teaching.

She taught me how to draw since she is a very good artist and she like to hear music. We do everything toghether, we go to recess toghether and sometimes i would go to her house for sleepover and we would talk until midnight. We talk about all the stuff that a girl would do.

Everything was fine when she met her friend Lisa, same class with her and I. They become close and I was somehow left behind. I was sad that she could be that kinda person leaving the old ones and having a new one in life. I shared everything and I didnt even know that she act that she pretend to care but actually no. I was hurt and sometimes i wish that i could transfer school so that i would not feel pain and  feeling left out.

From that moment, I have a hard time on trusting friend either which one is true or just wearing a mask to pretend to be nice and leave me when the new one come. I do not want to meet a friend that could replace the feeling of friends.

I know that in life there would be obstacle that I have to face but either way I just pray that my friend that I have now are loyal and dont forget about the time that we had togheter. Eventhough other friends come along in life, I would not forget what they had to for me and I love them just like I love my family.

I think my friends as my brother and sister. One big family, no more feeling hurt and left out.Family wont leave anyone behind. Thats what I apply in my friendship now. I wont leave them hanging or let them feel hurt just like I feel last time. I make mistake but i learn from my mistake and make it more better so that I want my friend to know that they are never alone because I will always be with them no matter what happen in life.

Invertebrates

Of the million or more animal species in the world, more than 98% are invertebrates. Invertebrates don't have an internal skeleton made of bone. Many invertebrates have a fluid-filled, hydrostatic skeleton, like the jelly fish or worm. Others have a hard outer shell, like insects and crustaceans.

Protozoa are simple, single-celled animals. They are the smallest of all animals. Most protozoa are microscopic in size, and can only be seen under a microscope. However, they do breathe, move and reproduce like multicelled animals.

Annelids have bodies that are divided into segments. They have very well-developed internal organs. One common characteristic of annelids is that they don't have any limbs.Other worms, such as the ribbon worm, can grow up to 100 feet in length. Some worms are considered parasites, in that they live inside the human body.

Echinoderms are marine animals that live in the ocean. Common echinoderms include the sea star, sea urchin, sand dollar and sea cucumber. Most echinoderms have arms or spines that radiate from the center of their body. The central body contains their organs, and their mouth for feeding.

Crustaceans are a type of Arthropod. The name may not sound familiar, but you probably know them. You may even have eaten one.Crustaceans live mostly in the ocean or other waters. Most commonly known crustaceans are the crab, lobster and barnacle.Crustaceans have a hard, external shell which protects their body. Crustaceans have a head and abdomen. The head has antennae which are part of their sensory system. The abdomen includes the heart, digestive system and reproductive system.

Insects are the largest group of arthropods. There are over 800,000 different types of insects. Insects are very adaptable, living almost everywhere in the world. Common insects include the fly, beetle, butterfly, moth, dragonfly, bee, wasp and praying mantis.

Insects have an exoskeleton that covers their entire body. An insect's body consists of 3 parts: the head, thorax and abdomen.

The insect's head has a pair of antennae, and a pair of compound eyes. Compound eyes are different from human eyes which have a single lens for each eye. Compound eyes have many lenses for each eye. For example, the fly has about 4,000 lenses in a single eye. This provides them with very good eyesight.
The thorax contains the legs for walking, swimming, jumping or digging. The thorax may also have wings for flying. The abdomen contains many body organs, such as the heart, respiratory system, digestive system and reproductive system.

The insect's hard, exoskeleton makes it difficult for the insect to grow and get larger. This is because the exoskeleton can't grow and get larger. Many insects must molt in order to grow. Molting is the process where an insect sheds it outer skeleton. It wriggles out of this old skin, and a new, larger exoskeleton develops.
